What is OKDay

OKDay is a seamless note-taking app for everyone.
OKDay offers a simple way to take notes, write a diary, record ideas, create to-dos, and more.

Easy to use

You can switch from traditional note-taking apps like Evernote and OneNote without any learning curve.
You don't need to spend a lot of time learning various concepts and techniques provided by note-taking software.
OKDay does a lot of work behind the scenes, including but not limited to providing rich editing experiences (supporting WYSIWYG, Markdown syntax, slash commands, etc.), multiple view modes (including traditional tree structure, calendar mode, list mode, picture mode), offline first, cross-platform data synchronization, and fast and accurate fuzzy search.

Multiple view modes

Currently supports traditional tree structure, calendar mode, list mode, and picture mode.
Tree mode: OKDay allows you to organize and record content through an infinite tree structure, making your notes more organized.
Calendar mode: At this time, OKDay can be a pure diary application, categorizing your daily records by date and displaying them along the timeline. You can review past events by switching to any date.
List mode: You can sort by creation and modification dates or fuzzy search by keyword. OKDay will help you quickly find the content you need.
Picture mode: Manage all the images you have used in the past and locate notes based on the images.(Picture mode is still in its early stages, and we are working to make it even more powerful.)

Page history

OKDay automatically records your page editing history, ensuring that you can always roll back to previous versions of notes.
OKDay also highlights the modification details in each historical version, such as red highlighting for deletion and green highlighting for addition, making it easy to see what changes have been made.

Offline first

OKDay is "offline first", which means you can always access and edit your note data anytime, anywhere, whether you have an internet connection or not.
OKDay also provides local data import and export, allowing you to back up and restore data at any time.
OKDay currently supports exporting PDF, Markdown, plain text, and full backup data packages. More data formats will be supported gradually.

Cross-platform data synchronization

OKDay's offline feature supports offline data migration, you only need to share the exported data to the new device, and then import it through the settings interface on the new device.
To further facilitate your data migration experience, OKDay now also supports cross-platform data synchronization.
OKDay provides multiple cloud data synchronization methods. Currently supports WebDAV and Dropbox. More cloud services are gradually being supported.

We have tried some popular note-taking apps and found that their keyword search speed and accuracy are difficult to satisfy.
OKDay has made efforts to overcome these problems. OKDay provides fuzzy search, allowing you to easily, accurately and quickly search for specific keywords and phrases in your notes.
